During a business trip to Erimo Town, I went to a set meal restaurant, Ajiro Ichijyo, for dinner with a member of the Erimo Town Regional Development Cooperation Team.
It was more of a good old-fashioned Japanese “teishoku-ya” than a fashionable restaurant.
This time, I ordered the Miso Katsu set meal (1,400 yen).
I did not have such high expectations, but was surprised when the meal came out!
There is a cutlet that is over 1cm thick, fried to a crisp, and coated with sweet and salty miso that does not interfere with the umami of the meat.
I have been living in fear of the results of my recent health checkups and avoiding carbohydrates, but I could not resist the violence of the umami of the meat.
Thank you for the feast.
