Lake Toya(Toyako) Menya Arashi Ramen restaurant.

This time, the temperature was a little warmer, so I went to Lake Toya by motorcycle for a photo shoot.
Passing through Lake Shikotsu, I arrived at the shore of Lake Toya in the cold. I wanted to warm up my cold body, so I decided to head to a ramen restaurant.

This time we visited “Menya Arashi”.
The location is on the far side of the gravel road one street over.
(The entrance to the ramen restaurant is at the back of the Japanese-style building on the left below, at the rear of the one-story property. In front is a curry restaurant.)

(Entrance to the restaurant a little confusing)

Miso ramen is creamy and different from Sapporo ramen miso!

However, the soup was so addictive that I usually hold back from drinking the soup after finishing it, but this time I drank more than half of it while taking a sip or two with a bamboo whisk… It was the first time in a long time that I had a taste that was not only fatty or salty, but also made me want to eat it again.

I looked at the menu in the restaurant, and it seems that miso is the recommended dish.
I would like to try spicy miso next time.

Since it is only a few hundred meters walk from the tourist facilities, it is likely to be crowded during the upcoming high season. If you are still concerned about the crowds, you may want to try going on a weekday.

The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and seems to be open for lunch from 12:00 pm.
We are about to enter another season of bustling restaurants in tourist areas.
I hope the economy will continue to turn around after the long winter.

Let's share this post !
