April 22 was the first day of a long holiday weekend to take a photo trip before the GW holiday crowds.
Whenever I pass through Rube Shibetsu, Kitami City, I always stop by the “Mountain Aquarium(Yama no suizokukan)” and the “North Fox Ranch(Kita kitsune bokujo)”…but since it was just noon when I arrived, I first looked for a place to eat to fill up my stomach.
However, not many tourist stores were open, probably because it was before GW and because of the current situation, so I went to a restaurant a little further down the residential area.
The name of the restaurant is “Restaurant Komasa,” and there may not be many people who come to this restaurant for sightseeing. The restaurant also has a nostalgic feel to it.

The interior of the restaurant has seating for several people and counter seating, but it is somewhat different from a typical restaurant in that it is designed like a snack bar or drinking establishment, perhaps to meet the nighttime demand in the area.
More than half of the seats in the restaurant were occupied by people who looked like neighborhood aunties and businessmen. Others were probably people who work at the nearby post office.
When I visit a local restaurant, I like to try the local specialties! I asked the master of the restaurant what he recommended, and he told me that the most frequently ordered dish was
“Tare katsu”
So I decided to take it.

The bowl is huge, so the cutlet may look somewhat small, but it is a normal-sized cutlet.

It was like a regional delicacy where you can enjoy alternately the fluffy part without the sauce and the part with the sauce. The red ginger on top is also a nice accent, and when you finish eating it, you will want to take another bite!

In the end, I was so full that I had to fight sleepiness for the rest of the trip.
Next time, we will talk about shooting after a long time. (North Fox Ranch)
